Almost There...

Ok...6 days to blast off. Stress is an understatement! In the past month we have renovated the kitchen, rented the house, packed the house, recorded an EP to sell along the way, and managed to get all our shots and travel docs finished along with Wills and instructions etc. for just in case scenarios and are still talking to eachother!!

October 3 we will go to the Nazareth concert here for a send off, October 4th we are on the plane to YVR and October 5th away we go to Beijing. We will be in China for 2 months, then to Southeast Asia for 2 months and on to Australia for a month and from there we aren't sure just yet but we have lots of time to decide. It's just the two of us, two backpacks, two guitars and lots of enthusiasm. We're taking some small rhythm instruments with us, tamborine, eggs, kazoos and are going to be dropping in on orphanages and villages to share some musical therapy. Ivan's going to busk and Shelley's going to look into doing some work for NGO's along the way. Wherever the wind blows us.

We will be gone for 18 months and really encourage our friends and family to click in here every now and then to see how it's goin' and to send us posts as it's more than likely (guaranteed) we will miss you one and all. Cheers and stay in touch.
